As the not-for-profit organisation of the Port Adelaide Football Club, Power Community Limited (PCL) have run important Respectful Relationships programs in schools across metro, regional and remote South Australia for more than 10 years.
And now, with program demand soaring to address critical societal challenges related to healthy relationships and gender stereotypes, PCL are calling for nominations to develop a Youth Advisory Committee.
Designed to help shape the future of the charity’s respectful relationships programs including Power to End Violence Against Women, and Empowered, PCL are calling for a minimum of six young people to join the inaugural committee in 2025 for a two-year term.
So, if you are in grades 10-12 at school in South Australia, passionate about gender equality, have a desire to contribute to meaningful discussions, and want to make change, you can click here to nominate.

- Provide knowledge through the lens of a young person to help form educational programs for peers.
- Network with like-minded people across South Australia.
- Invitation to attend relevant conferences for performance development opportunities.
- Invitation to attend PCL program events.
- Tickets to attend selected Port Adelaide Football Club games at Adelaide Oval.
- Port Adelaide Football Club polo shirt and hat.
The commitment:
- 2-year term.
- Quarterly meetings held at the Port Adelaide Football Club, Alberton Oval, or online.
- Provide guidance, advice and feedback on PCL’s Respectful Relationship programs.
