"It was amazing": CYP delivers first Auslan-assisted program
In an AFL first, our Community Youth Program has been delivered with Auslan assistance.
The Community Youth Program is a joint initiative with the Government of South Australia and endeavours to teach young people to make positive life choices for future success.
Delivered to primary school students across South Australia, the program promotes inclusion, respect and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
The program supports the South Australian Department for Education’s Wellbeing for Learning and Life Framework and the National STEM School Education strategy.
CYP Interactive eBook and Virtual Classroom
The CYP eBook and Virtual Classroom is accessible online and complements the delivery of the in-school program.
Lessons are designed to be interactive and provide education on healthy eating, physical activity, STEM, respect, smarter than smoking, identifying character strengths, goal setting and gratitude.
Check out the interactive eBook through the links to the right.
The interactive eBook is also available in Australian Sign Language (AUSLAN).
