Port Adelaide has unveiled its 2025 ANZAC Appeal Round guernsey with a touching tribute to the club’s 164 past players who served in the military, and all those who continue to make sacrifices for their country.
The traditional Port Adelaide home strip forms the base of the design, with full names of the club’s past players and veterans proudly listed on the front of the commemorative guernsey.
Listed in alphabetically by groups of service from the Boer War to the Vietnam War, four veterans’ names feature twice to appropriately reflect their service in multiple conflicts, and the ANZAC Appeal badge will again feature on both the top right corner and lower back of the kit.

Ollie Wines said he will be proud to wear the guernsey and the design is a strong reflection of the club’s history and connection to the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
“It’s always an honour to play in the Anzac Appeal Round games, especially because the club has such a rich history and connection with the Australian Defence Force,” Wines said.
“To pay tribute to past players who served for our country by wearing their names on our guernsey is very special, and not something we as a group take lightly.
“The club does incredible work through our community programs by supporting veterans and their families, so it’s a special week for the whole club on and off the field.”

The jumper will be worn when the club hosts the annual ANZAC Appeal Round clash against North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, April 26 at 3:45pm.
Player issued strips will be auctioned off after the game, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going back to support the growth of the club’s ADF Veterans programs, and RSL South Australia.
To mark the occasion the club has also launched a limited-edition ANZAC inspired hat dedicated to those who have served, with $10 of every item sold going back to support the club’s ADF programs, in addition to a themed scarf.

Both items are available for purchase at the Port Store at Alberton, online, or at the merchandise outlets at Adelaide Oval.
The game day experience will again be one rich in meaning and significance, as the club prepares to host ANZAC Appeal Round for the 21st consecutive year.
Ahead of the first bounce the long-standing tradition of hosting the ANZAC Day Challenge Cup between the ADF All Stars and the Australian Combined Emergency Services will continue, starting from 1:25pm.

For the first time, a veteran from the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force will lead the team through a guard of honour formed by more than 30 children from ADF families, before a special ANZAC observance ceremony commences before the first bounce.
Following the game, the Peter Badcoe VC Medal will again be presented to the player who best demonstrates the ANZAC spirit.
Tickets for Port Adelaide’s ANZAC Appeal Round clash against North Melbourne still available.
