Power Community Limited (PCL), the not-for-profit arm of the Port Adelaide Football Club, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Chilcott AM to its Board of Directors.

With more than 15 years of national leadership in advocacy, policy development, government relations and community-led change, Mr Chilcott brings significant depth, expertise and insight to PCL’s diverse programs and organisational operations.

A highly respected voice across sectors including migration, multiculturalism, family, domestic and sexual violence prevention, early childhood development, education and mental health, Mr Chilcott has built a reputation for tackling complex social issues and delivering meaningful outcomes - work that strongly aligns with PCL’s mission and program offerings.

Mr Chilcott is already well-connected to PCL’s community programs through his leadership on the club’s Multicultural Power Cup steering committee.

This role complements his broader work with more than 120 partner organisations as part of the Activate Australia’s Skills advocacy campaign to improve skills and qualifications recognition for migrants, as well as his founding of Welcoming Australia - a national movement fostering a culture of inclusion for refugees and new arrivals.

His governance background includes board roles with Welcoming Australia, Reconciliation SA and Community Centres SA, alongside advisory positions with State and Federal Government Ministers and a former Premier.

In recognition of his service and leadership, Mr Chilcott was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2022.

Chair of the PCL board, Rob Snowdon OAM, said he was delighted to welcome Mr Chilcott to the Board.

“We are thrilled to welcome a person of Brad’s calibre to Power Community’s Board of Directors,” Mr Snowdon said.

“His experience, vision and commitment to social impact will be invaluable to our suite of programs across our First Nations, Multicultural, prevention of gender-based violence and ADF pillars.

“We have already benefited enormously from Brad’s expertise and passion through his involvement in the Multicultural Power Cup steering committee, and we look forward to his contribution as we embark on a significant period of growth across all program pillars in 2026 and beyond.”
