Power Community Limited (PCL) is proud announce a new partnership with DEWC Services to support the charity’s ADF Veterans program.
PCL’s ADF Veterans Program – the only program of its kind run by an AFL club – brings former defence personnel and ex-AFL players together for a six-week program, empowering veterans to hear from past players and learn new skills as they transition into the next stage of their lives.
The innovative program draws parallels between the elite environments of both fields and offers ways to tackle the uncertainty that many experience after either career.
Across the six-week block, sessions will be hosted by past and present Port Adelaide players, skilled professionals, and local organisations, with key themes including goal setting, relationships, leadership and mental health and wellbeing.
The funding from DEWC Services will ensure the program can continue to support the veteran community and invest in research to appropriately diversify the curriculum.
Founded, owned, and operated by an Air Force veteran and electronic warfare specialist, DEWC Services is an award-winning professional services consultancy providing highly specialised engineering and technical expertise to the Australian Defence Force.

Allan Dundas, CEO of DEWC Services, highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting veterans in the workplace and acknowledging their skills and sacrifices made during their ADF service.

Community Programs Team Leader, Will Northeast, said the funding from DEWC Services will significantly help the program grow with the demand.

“We’ve currently got a waitlist for the 2024 intake, and this funding will enable us to grow the programs to ensure we can effectively meet this demand in future years, while also diversifying the curriculum and ensure we’re delivering a program that continues to address the needs of veterans in our state.
