Port Adelaide’s not-for-profit arm Power Community Limited (PCL) has teamed up with the Advertiser Foundation and the Nunn Dimos Foundation sending 25 families on a well-deserved trip to the Royal Adelaide Show.
The charitable initiative comes after the Nunn Dimos Foundation donated the passes to the Advertiser Foundation, which Royal Show organisers then matched, to ensure families battling the cost-of-living crisis didn’t miss the annual festivities.
The Advertiser’s Kids’ Appeal launched recently with the mission of raising critical funds for charities that play pivotal roles in helping disadvantaged children and families.
The family passes were distributed to community participants and families via PCL’s Community Youth Program and First Nations programs delivered in schools across metro South Australia.
