Power UP is an online safety education program designed to provide young people with evidence-informed, strengths-based strategies to support a positive and safe online experience.
Power UP provides schools with interactive online learning modules that integrate various formats including videos, activities, quizzes and animations with content aligned to the Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum and Australian Curriculum.
The interactive eLearning modules cover essential topics to equip students aged 15-17 across South Australia and the Northern Territory to understand and manage:
- concepts of online safety and security
- digital footprint
- cyber bullying
- respectful relationships and consent
- healthy digital habits, and the
- impact of social media and influencers.
Modules can be delivered self-paced with lesson plans and teacher resources provided with each module.
Specific modules are available for remote communities where the Eastern Arrernte language is spoken.
